But I've got some exciting news
I am very excited to announce that my next book, Princes and Thieves: Jared Kushner and Mohammed bin Zayed’s Secret Plot to Remake the Middle East, will be published on October 27 by One Signal/Atria Books. The book tells the story of Jared Kushner’s secret Middle East diplomacy.
The reporting for this book has been long and arduous. It started with a tip six years ago, and I’m proud to tell you that I spent nearly every day since then digging to answer some very important questions about what Kushner negotiated as the president Middle East envoy, and how that brought us to a war with Iran.
We live in a time when the rich and powerful can and do file lawsuits to prevent journalists from exposing their secrets in the public interest. The book, and the reporting challenges that came with it, are the reason I stayed away from The Cole Report.
But I am back, and as we get closer to the book’s publication I will be posting regularly both about the book and related topics.
